As typical of government agencies in general, they pay no attention to issues such as the growing adherence to pseudolaw arguments, until it becomes a serious problem for them by overwhelming police and court resources. They really don’t care about the damaging effect it has on the lives of adherents, only on their own resources.
Instead of providing me with some sort of funding years ago to continue building what is now considered to be the most comprehensive encyclopedia in Australia on this subject, I’ve been doing it alone and unassisted for well over a decade, at my own expense, providing the information free of charge to the public.

I don’t do that anymore. Ultimately, the issue doesn’t even affect me or my life in the slightest way, and I’m not prepared to waste my time and money without some sort of compensation. I have already spent nearly $10,000 of my own money on expenses incurred by this project, let alone 10 years of my life in study and writing, so there is no way I should have to pay for the annual website expenses to keep it operational.
There is a paradox here, because while it is paywalled, the general public misses out on the benefits of the resource. However, there is nothing I can do about that without bearing the full burden of expenses myself, which cannot continue. Sure, scholars and those in the legal fraternity praise and cite the resource, and direct people to it, but that doesn’t pay my bills. All it really needs, is a mere 10 people or organisations who will pledge a mere $50 each toward the annual expenses.
So instead of being a free resource as intended, this initiative relies on public financial support to cover the costs and expenses of maintaining the database and keeping the pseudolaw case law up to date. In advance, I thank you for your support.
