Slavery laws

OPCA theorists consider that the enforcement of laws without individual consent is slavery, and some cite section 268-270 of the Criminal Code attempting to establish this. What they neglect to mention is the fact that section 270.12 of the Criminal Code provides that section 270 is

“not intended to exclude or limit the operation of any other law of the Commonwealth or any law of a State or Territory.”

Those enforcing said laws are also protected under section 10.5 “Lawful authority” which provides that

“A person is not criminally responsible for an offence if the conduct constituting the offence is justified or excused by or under a law.”
